“ShortKode”, “Teacher HQ”, “Wordboxz” & “Tearer” are services and products provided to schools, parents and teachers who are our users. Our “Platforms” include but are not limited to: shortkode.org, wordboxz app, Tearer platforms & Teacher HQ platforms.
The above names are tradenames, subsidiaries of parent company ShortKode Technologies Limited.
Your website or app should have rules surrounding its use by customers and employees. Without clear expectations and guidelines, you leave yourself exposed to unwanted liabilities. Ensure that you take a more comprehensive approach to this section and address all legal issues.
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.
If you wish to purchase any product or service made available through the Service ("Purchase"), you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your Purchase including, without limitation, your details such as email, phone number, address, resume, curriculum vitae, name and other attributes including video, text, audio based content you introduce or provide to our platforms shall be used for the purposes of improving the services we provide to our users.
Employees are not allowed to select jobs for specific teacher users or teacher profiles for specific school owners. There shall be no toleration of corruption or bribery from the ShortKode Technologies Limited.
Talent poaching is not accepted on our platforms and users are advised to contact +2348113203319 on WhatsApp with verifiable evidence such as screenshots, usernames, phone numbers and emails along with a narration of the ordeal that prompts the user to believe that another user is engaged in or is/was a victim of talent poaching. However, Neither ShortKode Technologies Limited or any of it’s subsidiaries, platforms, services or products takes blame or liability for the effects or fallouts of any talent poaching that may occur on its platform with/without its consent. Any case of talent poaching found internally by ShortKode will sufficently dealt with to make sure that the incident does not escalate to harm more users.
Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis ("Subscription(s)"). You will be billed in advance on a recurring basis. We offer monthly billings, quarterly billings, semester billings, billing by bulk, annual billings and one-off billings.
Liability: By using our platforms, you are liable to the form of content or services that are provided to you on our platforms as much as you follow the process of getting the services. ShortKode Technologies Limited and its platforms accept no liability for the behavior, actions, conseqences of the teaching talents, school jobs found on its website. We “ShortKode Technologies Limited” and our platforms accept no responsibility for the repecussions faced when using our websites or apps should the case arise that there are law enforcement cases against users who sign up on our website or apps.
For Schools: Our platforms which include websites and apps both feature free and paid services. Schools are free to post job vacancies and create a profile on our platforms. ShortKode does not permit the use of more than one profile account per school. ShortKode may routinely offer discounts through advertising, marketing campaigns, sales drives and other activities decided by ShortKode Technologies’ board. Schools are required to input their detials such as the type of job they are looking for, the location of the job, facilities such as transport stipend or accomodation made available for the job, the location of the school, the direct contact detials of the school, and other relevant information that are requested of the platforms from the school account.
For Teachers: Our platforms which include websites and apps both feature free and paid servcies. Teachers are free to sign up to our website and upload their curriculum vitae or resumes. To access job vacancies and other perks of being on our platforms, teacher users will have to pay a monthly subscription on our platforms to enjoy the services we provide. The teacher user is liable to the feedback he/she gets from the ShortKode admin and school representatives. Teacher users are under no right allowed to ask for school contact details at any stage of the job application to interview process. ShortKode will be the intermediary between the school and the teacher applicant.
Our Service allows you to post, link, store, share and otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, videos, or other material ("Content"). You are responsible for the content being posted on our platforms. We do not allow the use or upload of nude, discriminatory, perverse, and confusing content on our platforms.
Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by ShortKode Technologies Limited. During our stay as a company, ShortKode Technologies Limited may enter into contracts with different companies to gain market share or expand deeper into other markets. ShortKode Technologies Limited has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that ShortKode Technologies Limited shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide up to 90 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
